Petition to the re-union of democracy in a new way !!

democracy in question

Is democracy all about the majority? In a democracy, each one of us has an equal right to vote irrespective of caste, gender, race etc. We are all allowed to choose our own representative who could represent us in the government and work for the betterment of the country and especially for their people.

A political party whose majority of MLAs represent in various constituencies form the government.

But driving into the present world, the politics and the hunger for power have changed the view of what democracy was chosen as the mode of running a government.

Yes, I am enlightening about the current political events taking place in Maharashtra. Democracy is for the people, by the people but the current scenario has changed as the government now is ‘of the power, for the power, by the power’ where power is politics.

MPs and MLAs are bought and sold through cash or temptations. The ministries are a bait to get the support of small parties to achieve the mark of majority and come in power.

No importance is ever gifted to the choice of the people. This is not the first time when political parties even after being the largest party failed to perform, there have been several other incidents in the past which have led to the formation of the government by the alliance of small regional or political party powerful at the centre.

The incident in Maharashtra just gives a sense of Deja vu. Is this is the beauty of democracy we talk about, where a state is so far without a government?

So, are we sentenced to take the democracy as a boon or a bane for the better future of the nation? We can just say that democracy is a jewel which as of now is in the darkest depth of the sea.

Is it necessary to criticize or oppose a government and stand as a pillar to the developmental works led by a government as you are against its ideology and to gain the public support image ourselves to be anti-government? This is in context of the decision taken by the maha Vikas Aghadi an alliance of NCP congress Shiv Sena and several other regional parties who participated in the decision to review the ‘Bullet train Project’ of the central government.
